Do you ask ChatGPT live what it says about my business?
No. This check only fetches your own website and measures what is objectively verifiable there, including whether the crawlers of OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Perplexity are allowed in at all. We do not query the assistants, and we do not pretend to. Anyone promising a free score built from five live model queries should be able to explain how they pay for it in 30 seconds.
What makes up the overall score?
38 individual criteria in four groups: discoverability (28%), AI crawler access rules, llms.txt, sitemap, indexability, title and description. Clarity (18%), name, address, contact, Open Graph, H1. Structure (28%), JSON-LD types, heading hierarchy, content depth. Authority (26%), linked profiles, sameAs, ratings, editorial section, freshness. Structure and authority weigh most, because they decide whether an assistant can name you at all.
How long does the check take?
The fetch itself takes half a second to two seconds depending on your server. The display deliberately runs a little longer so the individual steps stay readable. Either way you have a result in under a minute.
What happens to the domain I checked?
We store the requested address and the computed result so a reload shows the same evaluation and a later verification scan is comparable. We do not extract personal data from the checked page. Results are deleted automatically after 30 days.
My score is low. Is my website bad?
Not necessarily. What is measured is machine readability, not design, copy or revenue. Excellent websites regularly land below 50 simply because nobody maintained the structured data. That is the good news: these items are fixable with modest effort.
Do I need technical skills?
None for the check. The result shows you which areas are open and how urgent they are. What sits behind each one, and the order that makes sense, we set out in the call, and we can take the work on from there.
